Music Ministry
First Baptist Church offers numerous ministries for every age group and gender. Being part of a ministry not only challenges you as a believer, but is also rewarding by glorifying God in doing His work.
Worship is an act of giving all that you have back to God.

We sing and play for an audience of one - God. Our desire is to work together as a team to create an environment that draws believers to worship God, and enter into His presence. The Music Ministry exists to:
=Exalt God
=Edify Believers
=Evangelize our community and the world
To achieve these goals we offer a complete program from preschool choirs to adult choirs.

ADORATION CHOIR
High School - Senior Adults. Provides music
leadership and support for congregational singing
for Morning Worship and seasonal programs. Rehearses at 7:10 p.m. each Wednesday night. Child care is provided for rehearsals. Adult ensembles and soloists are selected from this choir.

JOY CHOIR
Senior Adults 55 & up. Rehearses Tuesdays at 9:00 a.m. We sing frequently throughout the year and for some Sr. Adult activities. Joy Choir usually includes much singing, fun, and sometimes food!

STUDENT CHOIR
7th grade - 12th Grade/College. Rehearses at 4:00 p.m. on Sundays. Provides musical leadership for Worship at least once a month. Seasonal programs are also a part of this choir's schedule.

CHILDREN'S CHOIRS
Preschool-6th Grade. Meet at various times on Sunday and Wednesday evenings from August through May.

PRAISE BAND/INSTRUMENTAL ENSEMBLE
Junior High - Senior Adult. This is a ministry we are seeking to provide. We are envisioning a group that rehearses several times a month and provides regular instrumentation for worship.
